Bookmiller Shannon, Banjo

Link to Arkansas Times article:  Bookmiller Shannon written by Stephen Koch:  “Carlos “Bookmiller” Shannon, was born on Cow Mountain, in Stone County Arkansas, near Mountain View, on Jan. 16, 1908. He played the five-string banjo with fellow Stone County native Jimmie “Driftwood” Morris, among others in the area.”   He died 28 June 1985, so he lived 77 years.
